Strengthen & Lengthen

In Strengthen and Lengthen, you will experience a new and invigorating style of Yoga Class. Be challenged while being mindful of movement and breath. You will build heat in the body and explore poses that tone and strengthen. This is functional movement that will help you improve your Yoga practice and excel in other daily activities or athletic pursuits. Go deeper and feel the difference!

In this class we learn the Primary Series postures, with a focus on each of the  “8 limbs” of Yoga from the Yoga Sutras, and how they relate to our yoga practice. The Ashtanga Primary series is a set sequence of postures (asanas) which link breath (pranayama) and movement (vinyasa). This practice is an athletic flow combining strength, flexibility and stamina for a complete practice. Come prepared to sweat, and to connect deeper with the mental and spiritual side of your practice.

Rent the Studio

Yoga Star's space spans 2800 sq-ft: made up of 3 studios (240-900 sq-ft), 3 massage rooms, and a large lounge outfitted with benches, cushions, tables, snacks, beverages, and WiFi. The studio is a great place to host parties, events, private workshops and more!
