Cancellation Policy: 

If cancelling with more than 24 hours notice, there will be no charge for the missed appointment.

If cancelling with less then 24 hours notice, there is a fee equal to half the cost of the missed appointment.

If the client does not call and does not show up for their appointment, there will be a fee equal to the full cost of the missed appointment. 

All appointments must be made with a credit card, the credit card is not charged unless our policies are not met.

Shiatsu is a form of bodywork that takes a holistic approach to healing a range of physical and emotional conditions or disruptions. It is different than other forms of massage since it is performed through clothing and no oils are used. A shiatsu treatment consists of pressure applied with fingers, thumbs, elbows and knees to areas all over the body, along with gentle, guided stretches. My practice is informed by modern physiology and anatomy, as well as the meridian and point systems of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

I have experience treating clients with complaints related to pregnancy, muscular pain and stiffness, headaches, stress, digestive conditions and more. Since graduating from the Shiatsu School of Canada's 2200-hour two-year shiatsu program, I have continued education in hot stone massage, shiatsu for facial rejuvenation and reiki. I'm passionate about my work and am honoured to be a part of any individual's wellness plan.

Regular Shiatsu helps to prevent the accumulation of fatigue, an illness as well as detecting postural, structural or organ related irregularities. Relieved Stress caused by physical, emotional or environmental Shiatsu reduces muscular soreness, joint headache, backache, insomnia. As well as improving the overall energy level of the recipient, Shiatsu strengthens the immune and circulatory system.
